INNOVATION AND TRADITION IN THE PRODUCTION OF ABRASIVE WHEELS SINCE 1968
Leader in the supply of abrasive solutions for a wide range of applications.
THE ABRASIVES
The abrasive is the main component that gives the wheel the ability to perform precise machining.
Each individual grain of abrasive precisely removes tiny fragments of the material being worked.
The main abrasives used in the production processes of our wheels include:
CORUNDUM
A chemical product obtained by melting pure alumina minerals in an electric furnace, classified according to the content of aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and the additives present. Main types include:
A96
Red-brown corundum with 96% Al2O3, generally used for roughing of steels.
A99B
Precious white corundum with 99.5% Al2O3, very sharp and relatively fragile, used for grinding and sharpening heat-treated alloy steels.
A96B
Special blend of corundum, gray in color, for deburring common and stainless steels.
A99DR
Precious pink corundum with 99.5% Al2O3, very sharp and has good toughness.
A99DR96
Special blend of corundum, pink-black in color, suitable for deburring cast iron.
A99OC
Special ruby-colored corundum with high chromium oxide content, which gives it excellent toughness; suitable for grinding and sharpening operations where profile retention is crucial.
